Soooo things seem to have gotten back on track :)
I started my new job yesterday and its been real laid back and easy going, perfect for work! The uniform is pretty gross - there's no way of making steel toe cap boots looking attractive... but the pay is good and I'll be able to afford the decent accomodation at university!
Speaking of Uni, I went to look around UWE last weekend and I really liked it so I'm definitely going to accpet my offer from there (unconditional, oh yes.) Whilst we were there we had a mock lecture on linguistics and I swear my head felt like it was going to explode afterwards; its been a LONG time since I tried to cram so much information into my brain in such a short period of time.

A few people came back from uni last weekend, though for no reason in particular so I got to have a long overdue night out. God I miss them all. AND I had a mcfriday last week which is always a highlight of the week and mcdonalds monopoly is back. My life once again has purpose :)

So I've been re-reading all the Sookie Stackhouse novels and I have to confess, there's one of them that always makes me smile.Though it has nothing to do with the novel and more to do with the lexical choice of the title, this book is Definitely Dead.
The word 'definitely' always seems to invoke a bit of a pet peeve for me due to the fact that noone seems to possess the ability to spell it correctly. If you think about it logically and split the word up into 'de' and 'finite' it makes so much sense, as 'finite' is a measure of time. Whereas 'de' and 'finate' doesn't (this is how idiots spell it.)
There's this girl who I went to school with, who is currently studying English Literature at University and she ALWAYS spells it 'definately.' jdfhfkjghdkgnfkldn it drives me crazy...

Sooooo... I was going to have a few days off from blogging. I knew I had a few reviews to type up, but I just wanted to sit in my pajamas all day eating junk food. Then I found out that today is World Book Day and so felt kind of guilty about my laziness.
On another note, I have a new job at Screwfix :) I've never worked full time before and I think it's going to kill me, but I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to being paid!!

Also, I realise that I haven't posted a picture in a while, so herrreeee we go. This one is of me and Lobo at a valentines ball. It always makes me lol when I see it cause my face is ghostly white, though Jess does have the unfair advantage of being half Indian. This summer I'm going to spend as much time as I can in the sun getting as brown and freckly as possible :)

Soooo... I seem to have stalled a bit on the review front. I thought I'd write about the true blood series next, and then I realised that all the books seem to run into each other in my memory and it would be easier if I read each one and then wrote the review afterwards :)
Speaking of stalling, I had my 4th driving lesson today. Its like having a stroke for 2 hours long! Seriously, I'm panicking all the time, and when I panic, I forget to steer and press the accelerator. Not a great idea when you're going around a round about, but hey.

I posted my first review today! I thought it was going to be a nightmare to write, and choosing a book to start with (especially when you own ~500 books) was probably the most difficult task of all.
I have once again enter the essay writing mind frame. You know that one where you're pouring milk into your cereal and an amazing phrase comes to mind and you're just like "I HAVE to remember this!" Its been switched on again. After spending months not thinking like this, its a welcome change; though I'm sure in a few weeks I'll be fed up of it!
And so onwards and upwards and I have begun writing review number 2. Nom nom nom :)

I know its been an AWFULLY long time since I last ranted on here. Someone I know just set up one of these (and they're at the beginner level ahhaha) which made me feel like an old-timer at this and prompted me to get my arse in gear and do what I've always wanted to.
At the expense of sounding like some weirdo who writes fanfics about themselves and a strange new boy who they sit next to in maths who really likes them and is also amazingly beautiful, has red eyes, cold skin and may be a vampire. (Yes I know this girl, she goes to college with one of my friends!) I'm going to do what I always wanted to do.
And obviously with new beginnings comes the ultra stressful and long winded process of finding a new layout which I feel represents my current mood.

I have OFFICIALLY finished school. There may be exams left, but no more lessons as Y13 EVER.
We went out on friday night to celebrate breaking up. I say night, I was drunk from about 2pm. [[and I don't even have a hangover!]]
So I've started typing up all my notes for my exams, which I'm going to make available here. I still haven't decided if I'm going to type them all out, or make them available for downloading.
AND I need a new layout - I've had this one for far too long :]

Embarrassing Jay Park stuff happened on friday too. But I need my secrets. As much as I love my friends, I need to do this without them laughing at me - too much of a demotivator.

I'ts been a while since I've been on here - I haven't forgotten I can just never be bothered cause I know I'm about to make a commintment (lazy right?)
I don't really tell many people [[mainly cause it's kind of sad]] but I watch A LOT of asian dramas. For a while now, I've been thinking that there isn't really a site with reviews of popular drama's on it. While crunchyroll does a pretty good job, it never tells you where to find any of the dramas online; so I've decided to set up my own.
Having watched plenty of asian dramas, I see myself as a bit of a pro on the subject [[I even have a rating system and plot synopsis written for each drama I've currently watched saved on word - talk about organised!]] so I feel that I might aswell vent somewhere :]
Sadly, my page needs a bit of a make-over [[and my wishlist needs a serious update]] in order to separate my everday ramblings from the reviews; whilst making them easy to access. ARGHH. No wonder I've been putting this off for so long.
Maybe when I'm more organised I'll have time to talk about my holiday to China, which was in fact 2 months ago....

ahhh how my once a month promise doesn't work :] and now I understand why I made that deal with myself; I have so much to say! So I'm going to bullet point aha. And this is all from the last week.

The T mobile ad. First I found this ~~hungarian/polish/swedish~~ European techno sound of music thing which was similar, and then I found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exkfGhz-YsUahahaha it started so small and then it was like EVERYONE lmao. I love the guy who winks at 1:48, its hilarious! And I'd heard radio ads interviewing the spectators and was just like WTF?!? lol. But I love it. [[it won't let me embed waaaaaa]]
Trevors. Trevor was moving house or something so had an open invitation on thurs night, so I went :] I'm actually pretty suprised that I didn't get kicked out considering I was probably the first person drunk. The police turned up 3 times! I can't believe it. One time, I was shouting at everyone to be quiet and I ran into the lounge and was like 'shhhhh' and the police man was like 'ahem, so anyway, as long as you're all inside it's fine' and I was like OOPS. lmao. Well it was fun. Until I got home and puked. 6 times. Apparantly Chloe and I were the worst. Though I did hear the Beth Morgan had a wee in the bath :S

Katies birthday was on tuesday, so we [[me, jess, katie, alice, kirsty and laura]] went to Wing Wah AGAIN lol. We got them to play the birthday song for her and it was this chinese woman like 'happy birfday to yuuu' ahahahah. Katie was morbid lol. ALSOALSOALSO, I ate some sushi last time we went: it was disgusting! blehhhhh. But I'm proud that I ate it>>>>
Fay [[my half-german cousin]] and her friend Carla came to stay at the weekend and I sort of ODed on family time. Seriously, I nearly commited suicide, it was aweful. We went iceskating on saturday, and I brought Jess along who [[bless her]] can't ice skate to save her life lmao. Then on sunday we went Ape. ahah it was sooo funny. They had these zip wires from 35ft up on a tree and I fell over on every single one. And then I was leaking wood chippings for the rest of the day lmao.
This totally lacks chronology, but on friday, Gemgem left to go back to Uni, and then she flew out to Japan on monday. Jelous much? YESYESYESYESYES. grrrr I hate her.
I'm totally bummed that I missed it, but I've found a picture of it.... dun dun dun, its the upsidedown youtube. April fools ROCKS! We pulled an April fools on our tutor; whoever walked in, Robbie would send down to the office, saying that it was urgent lmao! The all got soooo pissed off.
I watched an interview yesterday with Rain, and he was talking about Ninja Assassins, and his contract was INSANE. It told him like how many inches his waist had to be and all sorts of mumbo jumbo. He said that after all the intensive training, his body fat was less than 1% That's intense. Meanwhile, I run a mile on the treadmill and then am like 'okay, I'm done' ahah.
I have a new obsession with the SHINee song 'love like oxygen' I think I just like laughing at how bendy their legs are lol.
Yesterday, it was Laura's birthday meal, so we all headed off to TGI's [[I'm not gonna write the names cause 1. There were lots of us there 2. I didn't know everyone's name ehehe]]. Wain went abit crazy from all the coke, but we had fun. AND I saw Amy Hobbs, who I haven't seen in donkeys. She looked so pretty :] It was nice to see her again.
Tomorrow... the sun will come out.. ahah sorry. Edward is having a little gathering and I'm not sure if I should go. He lives in Little Aston, which is a bit of a trek, and I'm not sure who else is going either.
Watched Britains got Talent at the weekend, and they had this loopy woman on who was like 48. She said that she used to sing when she was 12ish, so I was like 'ohhh here we go' but I was wrong! She was soooo amazing that I was actually speechless. And that doesn't happen often.
And FINALLY.. we had a picnic at school a couple of weeks ago; a Jess picnic eheh. It doesn't look much, but when you're sharing that between only 3 people, its a full on feast. I was nearly sick by the end of it ; cause we HAD to eat it all :]
